This system uses a technology that combines the actions of shock, friction, pressure and shear force together to grind almost all kinds of substances includes organic and inorganic material into nano powders.
3D Top-Down Nano Pulverizer System Nano has developed the World’s first 3D Top-Down Nano-Pulveriser dry manufacturing system which has overcome the barrier in nano-powder technology’ which was considered impossible using the existing technologies. This system uses a technology that combines the actions of shock, friction, pressure and shear force together to grind almost all kinds of substances includes organic and inorganic material into nano powders, under the controlled temperature, moisture and pressure environment so as to sustain the natural properties of these substances. With existing grinding methods, only 0.5 ~ 2.0 % of the energy supplied to the grinding equipment contributed to increase the surface energy of the ground materials and the rest, 98% of the energy, was wasted as heat. As a result, nano grinding of organic material was almost impossible due to destruction of nutrition or changes to the property of the substance, abrasion of the grinder and lower productivity. This 3D Top-Down Nano-Pulveriser technology allows, for the first time, the manufacture of organic substances into nano-particles by grinding at low temperatures whilst maintaining their nutritional content and/or biological properties during the process.
The advantages of the 3D Top-Down Nano-Pulversing manufacturing system are :
- Retains the ‘as is’ ingredients or properties of the original substance
- Able to grind almost all kinds of organic or inorganic substances
- Guaranteed purity and quality
- High dispersibilty
- Allows mass production, approximately 4 times greater than conventional methods
- Produces very small, spherical nano-particle sizes from 20nm – 600nm, which have a more efficient and effective function than needle shaped particles and with a narrow and consistently controlled particle size distribution
The Nano technology was first developed in 2002 and has made continuous advancement, winning the following awards:
- World’s first invention: Patent No.03060303 – highly fine powder grinder.
- 2003: Certificate of High Quality by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy (EM Mark) – dry process ultra fine grinder.
- 2004: Premier Award in Great Korean Technology Exhibition – Dry Process Nano Pulversation Technique.
- 2006: Grand Prize of Chang Yong-Sil Science and Technology – The study of most advanced dry process nano pulverization technique.
